Motivate: Is Bribing Your Children For Good Behavior A Good Parenting Strategy?

Have you ever asked yourself, "how do I get my children to do the things they need to do?" or have you ever considered asking yourself, "how do I inspire my children to listen?" In this YouTube video we find parents use bribery to motivate their children to get the type of outcomes the parents desire. Some parents in the news clip also admit to not really having a plan as to how they will motivate their children as they get older. There is a lot of research out there as to what is the best way to motivate your children.   Have you ever asked yourself what successful people consistently do diligently? What does taking care of ourselves have anything to do with being a good parent? Before we can effectively take care of our children;  we must care for ourselves! Elder Marion G. Romney said, "Without self-reliance one cannot exercise these innate desires to serve. How can we give if there is nothing there? Food for the hungry cannot come from empty shelves. Money to assist the needy cannot come from an empty purse.
